Module requirements

Code Library needs two NetSuite features enabled. Go to Setup → Company → Enable Features to confirm they're on:

  • Custom Records (SuiteCloud tab)
  • Server SuiteScript (SuiteCloud tab)

Code Library uses an additional range of NetSuite features at runtime if your account has them — Accounting, Jobs, CRM, Custom Segments, Custom Transactions, Custom GL Lines, Payables, Receivables, Expense Reports, and a few others. None of these are hard requirements; Code Library detects which features are enabled and adapts accordingly. The individual feature SuiteApps (Project Financials, Retainage, etc.) declare their own feature requirements separately.

Installing the SuiteApp

Install Code Library via the SuiteApp Control Centre. The deployment installs all files and objects in the SuiteApp.

In practice, you rarely install Code Library on its own — every other FullClarity SuiteApp declares it as a required dependency, so installing any one of them (Project Financials, Retainage, Timeline, File Storage, Portal, Certified Documents, Construction) installs Code Library automatically as part of the same flow.

Configuration

There is no configuration step. Code Library is pure infrastructure — once installed, the other FullClarity SuiteApps that depend on it will start using its shared modules automatically.

Permissions

There are no user-facing screens in Code Library, so no end-user permissions need to be granted. The shared records that Code Library manages (subsidiary tracking, transaction-type list, report registry, permission records) have their access controlled automatically by the consuming SuiteApps.

What success looks like

  • After install, any FullClarity SuiteApp that depends on Code Library can install without dependency errors.
  • The other FC SuiteApps' shared features — Estimate Worksheet's TreeGrid, the Gantt's TreeGrid, transaction-type tagging on revenue and bills, subsidiary lookups — work without further setup.
