Register a NetSuite account
Register your NetSuite account (production or sandbox) with FullClarity's cloud infrastructure so Portal-backed features — File Storage, Certified Documents, vendor portals, Connect — can work.
When to use this
You need to register each NetSuite account once before you can use any Portal-backed FullClarity feature. You'll repeat the same registration step against:
- Every NetSuite account you own — production, sandbox, development. Credentials don't carry between accounts.
- Every sandbox refresh. NetSuite deletes all access keys during a sandbox refresh, so previously-registered sandboxes need to be re-registered.
Prerequisites
- The Portal SuiteApp installed in the NetSuite account
- Either the Administrator role or the FC Portal Admin role assigned to your user account
- Your NetSuite Company ID (visible at Setup → Company → Company Information)

Walkthrough coming
A step-by-step Scribe walkthrough for the registration flow is being recorded. Track its status in the Scribe register (internal).
- Go to https://my.fullclarity.com/register.
- Enter your Company ID. To find it, open the Company Information page in NetSuite (Setup → Company → Company Information). The format may be different from the value in your NetSuite URL — especially for sandbox or development accounts.
- You'll be redirected to the standard NetSuite login screen. Sign in.
- After login, choose either the Administrator or FC Portal Admin role for the relevant NetSuite account.
- The registration process records the account, generates a unique set of FullClarity API credentials, and writes them into your NetSuite account.
- You'll receive a confirmation email when registration completes. Wait for that email before configuring the SuiteApp — see Install & configure.
What success looks like
- A confirmation email arrives within a few minutes of running the registration.
- Opening Portal-backed screens (e.g. the File Storage drop zone on a record, or the Certified Documents vendor link) starts working as expected.
- The Portal Configuration record can be created against the subsidiary without errors.
Gotchas
- The Company ID is not always the same as the NetSuite account ID in the URL. Use the value shown on the Company Information page. Sandbox and development accounts often have a different format.
- Each account needs its own registration. Production and sandbox are separate registrations; credentials from one will not work against the other.
- Re-registering a sandbox after a refresh. Sandbox refreshes wipe the access keys NetSuite holds for Portal, so the previously-registered credentials stop working. Simply run the registration flow again. This is the same flow as the first-time registration — see Refresh API credentials for more on what re-registration does to existing credentials.
